General Squad
By invitation at 231 London Road.
During every lesson, the gymnasts will do skills on Floor, Vault, Bars and Beam and every 6 weeks (approx.) they will work towards our own Award Scheme, with the opportunity to purchase a medal. They will learn core skills depending on their ability, such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, progressing towards walkovers, handsprings and back flips. Twice a year, we will display a floor routine and vault to parents who can come into the gym to watch, once a year we will run a club competition.
We also aim to take part in external local competitions and ask our general squad gymnasts for assistance when our Coaches are upskilling and going on Coaching Courses.
The class is 1 hour 20 minutes.

Boy’s Squad
Having taught gymnastics for many years, we have learned that boys tend to enjoy different activities to girls. Therefore, we have created a class just for boys on a Wednesday 5.45 (ages 6-9 years). Skills will focus more on Vaulting and Floor skills (including Tumbling) and less time on Bars and Beam.
Such has been the success of this class, the following class at 6.45 now has a 50/50 mix of boys and girls so that the older boys have a class to move on to.
Fees
Fees are paid by Direct Debit. A different monthly pricing structure applies to Squad classes, according to the number of sessions you are invited to attend.
The Annual Membership Fee of £25.50is due on joining and at the same time each year. This fee includes your child’s insurance.
Classes run throughout the year except 2 weeks at Christmas & Easter, and Bank Holiday Mondays in May and August. The monthly payment is the same every month, as it takes account of the holiday breaks.
