Gymnastics instilled the love of exercise in me, but also determination and perseverance. I am passionate about creating the best environment for our children to grow. As a Mum we want to give our children the best start in life by choosing activities that will shape their future.

I have coached in Stortford Schools since 2007. I still work with teachers to improve curriculum gymnastics and have taught thousands of local children! My daughter Beth, has competed in gymnastics, trampolining, cheerleading and diving! So I have lived for many years in my customers' shoes and know about excellent customer service
Niki
I joined the club in 2016 as Pre-School Manager and was promoted to Club Manager in 2021. I have two children and it was while watching my youngest in his Pre-School classes that I decided to change career, re-train and, well the rest is history! I'm looking forward to developing your little ones through play, and ensuring they gain confidence with new skills along the way.

I am responsible for training the coaches and I design the lesson plans allowing gymnasts to have fun and achieve. I competed as an Elite Gymnast in my childhood and subsequently qualified as a High Performance Women's Coach. I have mentored many coaches and coached hundreds of gymnasts to achieve their best, from entry level to national elite status.

I joined Stortford Gymnastics in January 2017. I am a Level 2 Club Coach and a Level 1 Pre-School Coach. I decided to become a coach after years of being in the sport as an Elite Gymnast (British champion at the age of 9). I have been a coach for many years but I stopped when I had a family. I love being part of a team that develops children's gymnastic ability, social skills, and confidence.

I joined the team in 2019 and have been involved in gymnastics since 5. My son has inherited my love for the sport. I am a L3 Coach in Trampolining & Disabilities, and also qualified in Preschool, Freestyle, Recreational Gymnastics and Fitness. Little known fact, I have represented Essex in Hockey & Trampolining.
Jenny
My love for gymnastics and dance began when I was 3 years old and has continued to this day. Once I stopped training, I qualified as a coach aged 15 years and went on to gain more gymnastics qualifications at a higher level in Woman's Artistic and Preschool Gymnastics. I continued to dance professionally until I become a Mum and along the way got both a diploma and degree in dance. I have danced every style you can think off and my favourite is tap. I'm now a Mum of two, but have never stopped coaching.
Katie
After training as a gymnast for many years I qualified as a Level 1 coach at the age of 14, since then I have taught children from the age of 4 months to 16 years in both the UK and Australia at both recreational and competitive levels. I am currently training for the Level 2 Womens Artistic coaching qualification and look forward to developing my skills further
Marie
I discovered my love for the sport through my daughter; an Elite Trampolinist. After many years in the health & fitness industry, I was inspired to start coaching by my good friend Karen. I completed my Level 1 qualification in 2017. I continue to develop as a Coach within the club and I strive to encourage the children to achieve their best potential whilst having fun in a safe and caring environment.
Emma
I am a L3 trampolining coach and have been coaching since 1999. I have coached recreational and competition trampolinists at Loughton Flyers Trampolining Club and Apex (Harlow) Trampoling Club. I am also a Special Needs coach and qualified in Rebound Therapy and I am County Level Judge, judging at club, regional and national trampolining competitions.

I became interested in gymnastics when my daughters, one Dyspraxic, joined Janine’s school club in 2010. I saw the huge benefits that gymnastics offers to children of all abilities. My involvement grew and I helped Little Hadham School reach County Finals 3 years in a row. I am proud to say I am now a L1 Coach and I continue to enjoy watching children of different abilities flourish through gymnastics.
Leanne
I competed in gymnastics my entire childhood & teens. I owe my drive & sportsmanship to my coaches. Since enrolling my daughter in pre-school classes, gymnastics has (again) set fire through my veins! I have been given a great opportunity to coach at SG and if I can give your children the confidence the sport gave me, then job well done!
Lauren
I have been part of the team since 2017. I have danced since I was 3 and have competed nationally. Through dancing I discovered acrobatics and then gymnastics. Since joining the club I have gained my Level 1 in Gymnastics & also qualified as a Trampolining coach. Everyone at Stortford Gymnastics is so friendly and there is always a great atmosphere in the gym.
Tina
I have been with SG since the club opened; my role is to support the Pre-School Coaches, to settle the children and offer any 'motherly' comfort required. (the children may know me as Auntie Tina!) I joined SG because I enjoy working with children and the Pre School classes are so much fun, embracing & acting out the weekly themes that Niki creates.
Mary
I discovered SG when I took my grandson to Leaping Lions. He loved the classes and looked forward to the different activities & theme each week. I was so impressed with the encouraging, caring nature of the coaches so jumped at the opportunity to be part of the team. It's so rewarding helping the new ones to settle in. It also keeps me young, joining in with the theme for the class, pretending to be various animals!
Sophie
I have been working at Stortford Gymnastics since May 2017 as a Young Leader and qualified as Level 1 in August 2021. Stortford Gymnastics is a great place to be able to develop my coaching skills. I’ve had a passion for gymnastics since 3, and after as a competitive gymnast. I want to bring the fun and excitement that I felt performing, to new gymnasts
Beth
I am Janine’s daughter and Karen’s niece, so I have inherited the love of gymnastics. I competed at the Nationals in 2015, coached by Lucy Swinburne. I have now moved on to cheerleading, trampolining and platform diving. However, I still am involved in coaching and qualified as a L1 coach in Sept 21. There are so many great coaches to learn from at the club so I am very lucky.
Karina
I'm a Level 2 Gymnastics Coach, Pre-school and Trampolining Coach. I have coached at Stortford Gymnastics since 2016, and in that time I have had the pleasure of witnessing many athletes learn new skills and gain the confindence to become wonderful gymnasts. Since the age of 7 I was an elite gymnast, training up to 17 hours a week. The coaches here are like family to me and we love nothing more than watching gymnasts grow and enjoy the sport as much as we do!
Oliver
I am a Level 2 qualified Gymnastics and Trampoline coach with a deep passion for the sport. As a former elite gymnast who won the Eastern Regionals, I bring a wealth of experience and a true love for gymnastics to my coaching. I'm dedicated to helping athletes grow, focusing on technique, discipline, and fostering a positive environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.

Born and raised in Canada where I began gymnastics at age 6. From age 10 I trained competitively and in 2019 I placed second at the Ontario Provincial Championships. Early 2022, I became a Level 1 qualified coach in general gymnastics. In July 2022 I moved to the UK permanently with my family and now coach at Stortford Gymnastics. I love that I have been able to continue my passion for coaching in a new country.

I started gymnastics at the age of 4, at Nottingham Gymnastics Academy and I was one of the original Stortford Gymnastics members when they opened in 2016. I have recently qualified as a Level 1 and would like a career as a Gymnastics Coach. Hockey is my other sporting passion and I also play for Stortford Hockey Club.

I started with Stortford Gymnastics as a young gymnast and proceeded to do work experience in my secondary school years! I then realised how much I missed it and decided to take up coaching! I am now a qualified level 1 coach and enjoy it more every day!

I was a dancer for nearly a decade and competed around the country.
I started gymnastics in 2015 and loved learning skills which led me to coaching. We have a great team here and I am thankful to be a part of it.

I started gymnastics at the age of 4 (when Stortford Gymnastics was The Little Gym!). I was then one of the original Stortford Gymnastics members when they opened in 2016. I have recently qualified as a Level 1 and progressed from a Volunteer and Young Leader. I hope to work towards my Level 2 soon!

I am a retired Police Officer and joined SG in April 2019 . Since then I have learned to juggle very well; arranging the classes is a bit of a balancing act in itself, so I do try. I'm happily married with 2 grown up children, and an adopted bouncy rescue dog which is keeping me very fit and active. Everyone at the club has been so friendly and supportive, it's a pleasure to work here!
